The pin breakage of common mode inductors is a serious quality issue. If customers experience a large number of pin breakage after receiving goods, we can analyze the possible reasons from the following aspects:
1. it may be the problem of packaging and transportation: whether the common mode inductor has been properly protected during packaging, whether foam tape or other materials have been added to protect it, and whether there is serious turbulence during transportation, which may cause the pin to break. So the packing is very important ,we must pay attention to this issue and do some test before delivering to the client .
2. Problems in the production process: Check and confirm whether there is a problem in a certain stage of production that has caused a large number of broken pins in the common mode inductor, so that is mean during the production , the QC checking is necessary and careful , if find some product like this , must select it and inform to the production manager tp solve the problem .
3.It may be a quality issue with the production materials: because common mode inductors are conventional types of inductors, their prices are relatively transparent. Some small factories may use inferior pin materials for processing in order to reduce production costs, which may lead to a large number of pin fractures.so the QC need to check the material before mass production ,material cost control is very very important .quality is the life , it is the base of the development of the company .
